Tell us your growing zone or rough location if the question is about timing — it changes the answer more than anything else. If a guide here got something wrong for your region, say which guide and what actually happened.
Questions get answered in the order they arrive. If the answer is already on the site we will point you at the guide; if it is not, it may well become one, with your photo and your correction credited if you want that.

Quick answers
- How fast do you reply?
- Messages are read most days and answered within a week, usually sooner. Include your email if you want a reply; without one we can only fix the guide, not thank you.
- What should I include about my lawn?
- Rough location or growing zone first, then what the grass looks like, when it started, and what you have already tried. A photo of the symptom tells us more than a page of description.
- Can you diagnose my lawn from a description?
- We can narrow it down and point at the right diagnosis guide, but no honest answer to "what is this" comes without seeing it. The diagnosis hub walks through the checks a professional would make.
- Do you take guest posts or sponsored articles?
- No. Everything here is written by the site team and checked against university extension sources. Products are never recommended in exchange for payment.
- Found an error in a guide — should I really write in?
- Please do. Regional corrections are the most valuable thing we get: a rule that holds in Ohio can be wrong in Georgia, and reader reports are how those get fixed for everyone.
